Big Desk Media has a facelift and new features |
We built Big Desk's original website around 2 years ago. Journalists can search and download high resolution gift related images for use in their publications. Companies login and pay to submit these images to Big Desk. A neat idea and an interesting web design project.
We built all the functionality for this website which includes an Administration site for Big Desk and an Administration site for companies to login and submit their images. As this is such a unique idea all this functionality was built from scratch.
The re-fresh introduced a new cleaner layout, some new pieces of functionality and a Flash based product highlights list on the homepage. The Flash list is XML based and the products which it features can be selected within the Administration site.
The site features well on the search engines too - a search for "Journalit image library" brings in Big Desk as the no1 result in Google.
