1. WORKSHOP
We will start your web design project with an in person or virtual workshop. We encourage all your key project stakeholders to attend. Using a series of exercises we'll explore:
- Any existing research that you may have conducted
- Your existing website's performance
- Visual identity requirements
- Your target audience
- Positioning and messaging
- Your competitors
- User journeys
- Information hierarchy
- Content and language
- Look and feel
2. WIREFRAMES & PROTOTYPE
We will build 'wireframes' for the key pages of your website to agree the layout of the site before we commence design. The wireframes will include information hierarchy and navigation components.
Once the wireframes have been approved, we will design a prototype of your website in InVision. This allows you to get a visual sense of how the website will look and function before we commence with development.
3. DEVELOPMENT
We will always use the most appropriate technology for each individual web design project we work on. Most of our projects use either WordPress/PHP or Django/Python but we also build in other languages such as ASP.NET and Java.
4. TESTING
During the project, we will perform testing at pre-determined milestones. Before go live, we will conduct cross-browser testing, application testing and obtain final sign off. We recommend that User Acceptance Testing be conducted with key stakeholders ahead of go live.
5. CARE PLANS
